Special 3-day Exploratory Testing Workshop delivered in Prague - March 2017
In March 2017, Alon Linetzki will be giving a workshop on Exploratory Testing.
Do not miss your chance to get to know an effective approach for testing, that can assist you in planning, designing and running your tests and deploying a less risky (bugy) software or system into production.
Participants will be able to bring their own challenges and features to class, in order to implement and use the technique/tools within their Context.
Hands-on exercises will be performed throughout the workshop, using the techniques and the tools. Participants will install the tools on the workhsop day.
Mr. Alon Linetzki, Founder and CEO of QualityWize, spoke at the QS-TAG, quality assurance and testing conference in Nuremberg Germany. The conference is one of the most successful conferences in last years in Germany, and in Europe, and although aimed mostly to the local market, attracts people from USA and other countries in Europe.
Mr. Linetzki spoke about Optimizing Test Design Using Tools, a hands on short workshop session that described a few optimizing methods, based on his experience in various projects, and included implementation demo and exercises practice using tools installed on the participant’s laptops (tools were given freely at the conference).
One of the most effort intensive tasks of test engineers is test design, and Mr. Linetzki has shown how we can smartly, optimize the number of test cases, and choose them based on lowering the risk, while lowering them in quantity. About 50 people at the workshop, gave feedback it was very pragmatic, and in the right level of interest and knowledge they have wanted to see.

Mr. Linetzki, will be opening the coming SIGiST Israel conference 2016 - on the 15th September, 2016, Mr. Linetzki, the Founder and Chair of the SIGiST Israel, and the Founder and Chair of QualityWize, will be opening the 12 year conference of SIGiST.
His talk about Optimizing Test Design Using Pairwise, will follow on that day, and will be conducted as a mini-workshop, where participants will get involved in hands on exercise using their laptops.

Mr. Linetzki will be giving a keynote at the Czech Test 2016, in Prague about Large Scale Agile, the challenges companies have and why they are trying to solve them with moving into large scale implementation of agile using LeSS or SAFe. What success criteria are there for a successful implementation of such effort will be presented and disucssed as well.
During the last General Assembly meeting of ISTQB(R) held in Singapore, Mr. Linetzki was elected to be the new ISTQB(R) Marketing Working Group Chair for 2016-2018.
Mr. Linetzki has been active in the marketing working group for the last 10 years, and helped establish it. a few of his activities include: founder of the ISTQB(R) Partner Program w/w (a program which is recognizing companies' efforts to certify their employees using the ISTQB(R) scheme), support in building the Data Collection Application for nominations and financial management of ISTQB(R), ISTQB(R) Mission and Vision review team, lieson for the Agile Tester WG (also set as co-author in that working group), review of website materials release, suggesting the Streams structure of the MWG, which is now being used more and more within other WGs at ISTQB(R), and more.
In the past, Mr. Linetzki has received the ISTQB(R) Marketing Efforts award for his activities during 2012-2014.
